Welcome to PillowHunt!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. We’re June and Nora, two best friends from the beautiful British Columbia, and yes, we know how lucky we are to look at those mountains every day.
We started PillowHunt because we love a good throw pillow a little too much, and we were tired of scrolling the same generic finds on every design blog out there.

How it all began

We wish we could tell you PillowHunt started with a brilliant business plan.
It didn’t.

It started with us texting each other way too many photos from the home décor aisle at HomeSense, completely delighted every single time. Then we’d go looking for something similar online and hit the exact same generic coastal blue two-pack, again and again, and it drove us a little crazy!

If you’ve ever wanted something specific, like a faded coastal look for a navy couch, and gotten twelve identical stock photos instead, we’ve been there. So we started keeping a running list of what actually worked, what actually looked good, what actually felt like a home. That list turned into this site, and honestly, we still can’t believe it happened.

🖤 Meet the team 🖤

Nora Sutton

Resident Perfectionist
Nora lives with her husband and their very spoiled golden retriever. She works part-time in marketing and spends most of her free time hunting for pillows nobody else has found yet, usually from some tiny shop buried on page six of a search. She loves rust, ochre, and anything with a floral print, and she has zero patience for a boring insert.

June Ashby

Head of Impulse Buys
June is a mom of two, and most of her decorating happens between school drop-off and nap time. She’s the queen of coastal without the cliché, no anchors or rope details, just faded indigo and a bit of texture. She’ll check the same pillow on four different sites just to be sure the color is right, and she always catches when a cream is secretly beige.
